Dea Vanagan

Dea Vanagan is a seasoned art professional with extensive experience in curatorial and leadership roles across prominent organizations. Currently serving as Senior Director at Hauser & Wirth since September 2016, Dea oversees a dynamic arts center that features exhibitions, education, and events. As Founding Artistic Director and Trustee at The Bomb Factory Art Foundation, Dea played a pivotal role in establishing the organization and its strategic direction. Previous positions include Associate Director at Artwise Curators, where Dea supported various international projects and public organizations, and Associate Curator at Situations, curating a significant public art project for The National Trust. Dea has also contributed as a writer for various art publications and has a solid academic background with degrees from Sotheby's Institute of Art and Queen's University, complemented by participation in the Clore Leadership Programme.
