Þorsteinn Gestsson

Þorsteinn Gestsson has a long and varied work experience. Þorsteinn started their career in 2006 as an Author for AidMarket. In 2008, they joined Advania as an Innovation Leader - Digital Business. Þorsteinn then moved up to Innovation Leader, Innovation Leader RL, Innovation Leader SL and Innovation Leader Oracle Solutions. In 2010, they co-founded Naglinn vefþjónusta ehf., a network platform for contractors. In 2016, they co-founded Konto ehf., a solution for creating electronic invoices, and founded Gestsson ehf., to help manage various startup projects and to offer services for the outsourcing of web and app development projects. In 2018, they became CTO of HausMart, EFNI and Niceland Seafood. Þorsteinn also co-founded Ferlamyndir ehf., a mobile app that helps users log a process with pictures, and lead the development of TraceabiliT, a traceability and content management solution.

Þorsteinn Gestsson received their Associate's degree in Entrepreneurship/Entrepreneurial Studies from Reykjavik University in 2011. Prior to that, they earned a BA in Philosophy from Columbia College, Columbia University in 2005.
