Xavier Gillard

Xavier Gillard is a Senior Research Associate at the State Archives of Belgium, actively involved in the FEDTWIN/ARKEY project funded by Belspo and UCLouvain since September 2023. Concurrently, Xavier has held the position of Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Université catholique de Louvain since September 2016, working on FEDTWIN/ARKEY and the DEEPCONSTRUCT project funded by the Walloon Region. Xavier also serves as a Lecturer at Haute Ecole Léonard de Vinci and has experience as a Visiting Research Scientist at CRIL and as a Visiting student at MIT CSAIL. Previous roles include a Developer at Smals, Sysadmin and Developer at Haute Ecole Léonard de Vinci, and System Developer at SWIFT, along with an internship at Solvay. Xavier holds a PhD in Computer Science from Université catholique de Louvain, complemented by master's degrees in Computer Science and Labor Sciences, as well as a bachelor's degree in Computer Science.
