Melissa Giradet

Melissa Giradet is an experienced researcher and cultural mediator currently serving as an Assistante de recherche et Collaboratrice scientifique at Haute Ecole pédagogique Fribourg since May 2020. With a strong background in cultural event coordination, Melissa has worked with Black Movie International Film Festival in various roles, including Curatrice de conférences and responsable programme en médiation culturelle, where responsibilities included developing and managing educational programs for secondary schools. Previous experiences also encompass press coordination at Neuchâtel International Fantastic Film Festival, scientific collaboration at Musée d'Ethnographie de Neuchâtel, and collection management at Fondation La Coudre. Melissa holds a Master’s degree in Social Sciences with a specialization in sustainable development from Université de Neuchâtel and has pursued further studies in Anthropology and International Development.
