Haven Behavioral Hospital of Frisco
Sahana Sivakumaran is currently serving as a Supplemental Instructor Leader at The University of Texas at Dallas, focusing on General Chemistry 1 and 2 while collaborating closely with the SI team and the course professor. Prior to this role, Sahana worked as a Behavioral Health Technician at Haven Behavioral Hospital of Frisco and as a Dental Assistant at Buchwald Orthodontics. Additionally, Sahana gained valuable experience as a shadowing intern at Baylor Scott & White Health, where observation of an Emergency Room physician took place. Sahana completed high school at Centennial High School from 2018 to 2022 and is pursuing a degree at The University of Texas at Dallas.

Haven Behavioral Hospital of Frisco provides inpatient psychiatric stabilization and treatment to adolescents (12+) and adults of all ages who are experiencing acute symptoms of depression, anxiety, mood swings or psychosis. Services are provided by psychiatrists, nurses, therapists, and other professional staff who are dedicated to improving the quality of life of patients. Haven's philosophy is one of working together with family, physicians, long-term care providers, and other agencies involved in meeting the healthcare needs of our patients.
