Kees Timmermans is a seasoned professional in textile innovation and procurement, currently serving as a Textile Innovator and Fabric Development Specialist at HAVEP Workwear/Protective wear since December 2019. Kees specializes in sourcing sustainable and durable raw materials for the production of high-quality PPE garments. Prior to this role, Kees worked for Koninklijke Van Puijenbroek Textiel from 1997 to December 2019, transitioning the company from self-manufactured fabrics to outsourcing while maintaining quality. Kees has held various positions including Purchaser, Process Engineer, and Manager of the dyehouse. Earlier experience includes a role as Assistant Production Manager in the Coating Department at Avery Dennison from 1989 to 1997. Kees holds multiple NEVI certifications in procurement and degrees in Business Administration and Process Engineering from reputable institutions.
