James Knape

James Knape has a diverse work experience spanning several companies. James started their career in 1993 at Knape & Vogt Manufacturing Company as a Chemical Process Engineer for five years before transitioning to the role of Plating Manager. In 2001, they joined Thomas Regout International as a Plating Manager for a year. From 2002 to 2007, James worked at Heatbath Corporation as a Technical Sales Representative. In 2007, they joined Haviland Enterprises, Inc. as a Technical Account Manager and held this position for over a decade. James then took on various roles within the company, including National Sales Manager, HPC Sales Director, and HPC Sr. Sales Director. Recently, they became the HPC Sr. Director of Contract Manufacturing, starting in March 2022.

James Knape attended Grand Rapids Community College from 1987 to 1989 and earned an Associate's degree. James then transferred to Western Michigan University and studied Chemistry from 1989 to 1994, graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree. Additionally, during their time at Western Michigan University, they focused on Marketing as a field of study.
