Rich H.

Rich H. has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Rich is currently the Director of HPC Sales at Haviland Enterprises, Inc., where they lead a sales team and focuses on providing value to clients through their unique ability to supply and support chemicals for various processes. Rich previously served as the Surface Finishing Sales Manager and Technical Sales Representative at the same company.

Prior to their role at Haviland Enterprises, Rich H. worked as a Laboratory Manager and Research and Development (R&D) Manager & Technical Service Rep at the company. In these positions, they led R&D efforts in developing new proprietary products and formulations for industries such as pool and spa, surface finishing, and personal care. Rich also provided technical support to the sales team.

Before joining Haviland Enterprises, Rich H. gained experience as a GAPS Research Technologist at Dow Chemical Company through an assignment with Kelly Scientific Resources. Their responsibilities included process chemistry, yield improvement, waste reduction, and reaction quantitation.

Rich H. started their career as a Research Assistant and later became a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Central Michigan University.

Rich H. has a diverse education history. From 2011 to 2013, they attended Central Michigan University, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Biochemistry and a Master's degree in Chemistry. In 2022, Rich pursued executive education at Duke University - The Fuqua School of Business, completing a program titled "Leading Business Strategy Through Operational Excellence." The following year, in 2023, they furthered their executive education at the same institution by completing the "Duke Leadership Program."

In addition to their formal education, Rich has obtained certifications that enhance their expertise. In November 2021, they received a Sales Management Certification from the American Management Association. Furthermore, in May 2016, they achieved the Master Surface Finisher - MSF certification from The National Association for Surface Finishing.
