Nate Talbot, CSP, CIH has extensive experience in the field of environmental health, safety, and sustainability. Nate has held various roles throughout their career, starting as a Student Intern at the University of Connecticut in 2013. From there, they worked as an Environmental and Safety Analyst at Facility Support Services, supporting clients from multiple industries with compliance and risk assessments. Nate then joined LJT & Associates, Inc. as an Environmental Health and Safety Manager, where they managed a department budget and facilitated contract safety training. Following this, Nate served as a NASA GSFC Contract Safety Officer at Stinger Ghaffarian Technologies (SGT), overseeing safety, environmental, and health issues for multiple contracts at NASA Goddard Space Flight Center. In 2017, Nate joined STULZ USA as the Environmental Health and Safety Manager, responsible for advising executive management on safety and sustainability efforts while also managing workers' compensation and return-to-work programs. Most recently, they held the position of Safety Director at Havtech before being promoted to Director of Environmental Health, Safety, and Sustainability.

Nate Talbot, CSP, CIH, has a solid educational background in occupational safety and health. Nate obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Occupational Safety and Health from The University of Connecticut, where they studied from 2010 to 2013. Later, they pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Occupational Safety and Health, with a specialization in Environmental Management, from Columbia Southern University, completing their studies from 2015 to 2017.

In addition to their formal education, Nate holds several certifications to further enhance their expertise. Nate obtained certification as a Certified Safety Professional from the Board of Certified Safety Professionals in March 2017. In December 2012, they completed training in the 40 Hour Hazardous Waste Operations & Emergency Response program at the University of Connecticut - Storrs. Nate acquired the Heartsaver Instructor certification for CPR/AED/First Aid from the American Heart Association in October 2020.
