Michelle Mak Scott has a diverse work experience spanning across various industries. Michelle started their career as a Manager at Arancino Beachwalk in 2009 and later served as a Food & Beverage Supervisor at The Waikiki EDITION. Michelle also worked as a Server/Bartender at BLT Waikiki. In 2013, they gained experience in auditing both as an Audit Intern at Akamine, Oyadomari & Kosaki CPAs and as an Advisory Staff at EY. Michelle then worked as an Accountant at the State of Hawaii and as a Senior Audit Officer at First Hawaiian Bank. Subsequently, Michelle joined American Savings Bank as an Auditor, AVP and later joined Bank of Hawaii as an Enterprise Credit Risk Analytics Officer. Michelle is currently working at Hawaii National Bank, where they have held positions as AVP & Credit Officer and Vice President & Manager of Credit Operations, responsible for credit operations and implementing reserve processes. Overall, Michelle has extensive expertise in credit operations, risk analytics, auditing, and financial management.
Michelle Mak Scott graduated from the University of Hawaii at Manoa with a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Accounting in 2013. Prior to that, they also completed a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Travel Industry Management and Hospitality from the same university, from 2006 to 2008.
