George Kawika Kaanana

George Kawika Kaanana currently serves as the Manager of Operations Fleet Support at Hawaiian Airlines, overseeing aircraft appearance, security, fueling, and servicing required pre and post-flight since February 2024. Previously, Kaanana held the position of Director of Operations at Aloha Air Cargo from November 2020 to May 2023 and spent two decades at Hawaiian Airlines as Senior Manager Cargo for Hawaii and American Samoa, where significant revenue growth was achieved. Earlier in Kaanana's career, experience as Front Office Manager at JW Marriott @ the Ihilani Resort & Spa and Hotel Operations Manager at InterContinental Hotels & Resorts further developed strong operational leadership skills. Kaanana is currently pursuing a degree at the University of Hawaii-West Oahu, complementing an associate's degree from Leeward Community College in Liberal Arts and Sciences.
