Wade Shimoda

Wade Shimoda is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in research and data analysis, currently serving as a Senior Research and Data Analyst at Hawaiian Electric Company since May 1996. Prior roles include Senior Research Analyst and Research Analyst at the same company, as well as a Research Analyst at Central Vermont Public Service from 1993 to 1996. Wade began a career in marketing research as an intern at Ethicon in 1991 and served as Chief of Industrial Engineering in the USAF from 1986 to 1990. Academic qualifications include an MBA in Marketing and Finance from the University of Rochester - Simon Business School (1990-1992) and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (1982-1986). Wade's foundational education was completed at James B. Castle High School (1978-1982).
