Network Engineer IV Advanced Services at Hawaiian Telcom

Wayne Mato is an experienced network engineer currently serving as Network Engineer IV Advanced Services at Hawaiian Telcom since October 2008, having previously held positions as Sr Managed Services Engineer and Network Specialist. Responsibilities include monitoring and maintaining Cisco ASA's, IPS, routers, switches, and FortiNet firewall platforms, as well as establishing network visibility for customers through private line DSL transport and SNMP V3. Prior experience includes working as a CTI Technician at Progressive Communications from July 2003 to July 2008, where LAN and WAN networks with integrated data and voice applications were installed, along with Cisco and Adtran routers for various connectivity solutions. Wayne Mato earned an AA degree in Computer Networking and an AA degree in Computer Technology from Heald College between 2000 and 2004.
