James Sharam

James Sharam has a diverse range of work experience, starting in 2007 as a Software Developer at Pro-corporate. James then pursued their PhD at the University of Bristol from 2008 to 2012, specializing in Quantum Information and Quantum Computation. Following that, James worked as a Software Developer and later as a Senior Software Developer at Imetrum Ltd from 2012 to 2019, where they developed software products focusing on image tracking technology. Currently, they hold the role of Head of Computer Vision Engineering at Hawk-Eye Innovations Ltd, where they have previously held positions as Computer Vision Architect, Principal Software Engineer, and Senior Software Engineer.

James Sharam earned a PhD in Mathematics with a specialization in Quantum Information Theory from the University of Bristol, where they studied from 2008 to 2012. Prior to that, they pursued an MSci in Mathematics at the same university from 2004 to 2008. James completed their secondary education at Desborough School from 1997 to 2004. In addition to their formal education, they have obtained various certifications, including AWS Technical Essentials from Amazon Web Services (AWS), CMake for Cross Platform C++ from Udemy, People And Management Skills from FutureLearn, and a distinction in Digital Signal Processing from Coursera.
