Jodie Nixon

Jodie Nixon has a diverse work experience spanning various roles in health, safety, and security. Jodie currently serves as the Global Head of Health Safety & Well-being at Hawk-Eye Innovations Ltd since October 2023. Prior to that, they worked as a Production Health and Safety Executive at Prime Video & Amazon Studios from March 2022 to August 2023 and as a Senior WHS Manager at Amazon from June 2021 to February 2022. Jodie also founded Nixon Global Solutions, where they provided health, safety, and security support and consultancy services from September 2018 to February 2022. Jodie has held positions such as Manager of Health and Safety at The Walt Disney Company, Security and Safety Consultant at Red Latitude, and Security Support & Health & Safety Consultant at Blue Diamond Security Solutions Ltd. Jodie also has experience as a Senior Security Consultant at Control Risks and as a Senior Officer and Bronze Commander at the Ministry of Justice UK, where they managed prisons, negotiated and managed incidents, and delivered accredited courses.

Jodie Nixon has a Level 6 Diploma in Applied Health and Safety from NCRQ National Compliance and Risk Qualifications. Jodie attended Negus 6th Form from 1999 to 2002, where they completed their A Levels. Currently, Jodie is pursuing a Master's degree in Level 7 Diploma in Strategic Health and Safety Leadership and Management from ProQual, which they are expected to complete in 2024.

In terms of additional certifications, Jodie obtained a GradIOSH certification from IOSH in 2020. Jodie also holds a Diploma in Applied Health and Safety from NCRQ National Compliance and Risk Qualifications, a Certificate in Personal Injury Liability and Reduction in Absence from the same institution, and an MSyl certification from The Security Institute obtained in February 2020. Furthermore, Jodie has a FREC 3 certification inclusive of Paediatric training from ALR TRAINING & EVENT MEDICAL SERVICES LTD obtained in May 2019.

In the past, Jodie received a Certificate in Applied Health and Safety from NCRQ National Compliance and Risk Qualifications in 2018. Jodie also received the Arnold Smith Award from Their Majesty's Prison and Probation Service (HMPPS) in 2009. Additionally, Jodie obtained a PTTLs certification from City & Guilds in 2009.
