Nathan Kalhan is an experienced professional actively engaged in various roles focused on advocacy, education, and community engagement. Currently serving as a Client Intake and Case Evaluation Specialist at The Chandra Law Firm since May 2024, Nathan supports high-stakes civil rights initiatives. As a Scholar at Yale Young Global Scholars since July 2023, Nathan completed a capstone project on the death penalty, while also founding and chairing the American branch of the Global Scholars Debate Academy, which aims to enhance accessibility in competitive debate. Additionally, Nathan holds the position of Outreach Board Co-Chair at Ohio for Equity, promoting fairness in Speech and Debate, and serves as President of The City Club of Cleveland Youth Forum Council, which organizes forums for high school students. In previous roles, Nathan interned at Asian Services in Action, focusing on political engagement, and worked as a Research Assistant at Cleveland State University in the field of biomedical engineering. Nathan is currently pursuing education at Hawken School, expecting to graduate in 2025.
