Alicia Scott

Alicia Scott is an experienced healthcare professional currently serving as the NZSTA Central Region Area Representative for the NZ Speech-language Therapists' Association since June 2022. With a career spanning over a decade at Hawke's Bay District Health Board, Alicia holds various roles including Director of Allied Health - Hospital and Acting Allied Health Director - Therapies, focusing on older person care and allied health services. Previous experience includes positions as a Speech Pathologist and Speech and Language Therapist across several healthcare organizations, including East Kent Hospitals University NHS Foundation Trust and Northern Health. Alicia has pursued advanced education, earning a Post Graduate Diploma in Health Science with a focus on Leadership and Management from Auckland University of Technology, expected to complete in December 2023, along with a Bachelor of Speech and Language Therapy from the University of Canterbury.
