Rachel Hooker

Rachel Hooker currently serves as the Acting Pharmacy Manager and Team Leader of Clinical Pharmacists at Te Whatu Ora Te Matau a Māui Hawke's Bay since June 2020. Prior experience includes roles as a Clinical Pharmacist at Whanganui District Health Board from January 2014 to May 2020, and as an Intern Pharmacist at Nelson Marlborough District Health Board from December 2012 to December 2013. Rachel began the pharmacy career as a Pharmacy Student at Westview Pharmacy from January 2011 to November 2012. Additionally, from December 2005 to January 2011, Rachel worked as a Regional Guard for Surf Life Saving New Zealand. Educational qualifications include a Post Graduate Diploma in Clinical Pharmacy with distinction and a Post Graduate Certificate in Clinical Pharmacy from the University of Otago, as well as a Bachelor of Pharmacy from The University of Auckland. Rachel attended Iona College in Havelock North for secondary education.
