Bernadette Cannon

Bernadette Cannon has a diverse range of work experience in the engineering and satellite operations fields. Bernadette is currently employed at HawkEye 360 as a Senior Satellite Operations Engineer, a role they began in November 2021. Prior to this, they worked as a Flight Operations Engineer at Columbus Technologies and Services from March 2021 to November 2021.

At SES Networks, Bernadette held multiple roles from 2015 to 2021, including Payload Operations Engineer, mPower Systems Architect & Analyst, and Real-Time Engineer.

Additionally, they worked as an Undergraduate Teaching Assistant at the University of Maryland - A. James Clark School of Engineering from January 2015 to May 2015, where they conducted programming labs and provided support to students.

Their earliest work experience was as a Student Researcher at the University of Maryland - Space Power and Propulsion Lab from May 2014 to May 2015, where they contributed to various projects and presented research findings.

Bernadette Cannon completed their Bachelor's degree in Aerospace, Aeronautical, and Astronautical Engineering from the University of Maryland in 2015. Bernadette then pursued further education and obtained a Master of Science (MS) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the Johns Hopkins Whiting School of Engineering. Bernadette attended Johns Hopkins from 2019 to 2022.
