Paul Zukunft

Paul Zukunft has been in the business of developing and managing space-related opportunities for over two decades. Paul is currently an advisor at HawkEye 360, a company that provides information services using advanced radio frequency technology. Prior to their current position, Zukunft was the ISR Space Business Development and Strategy Manager - Tactical Space Division at Northrop Grumman. In this role, they managed a $15-20B pipeline of opportunities and a $8M overhead budget for the OU Director. Zukunft was also the Senior Tactical BD representative for all the business Support teams across the space sector.

Before joining Northrop Grumman, Zukunft worked as the NRO Senior Business Development Manager - National Solutions Operations at Leidos. During their time at Leidos, they successfully won over 400M worth of business with a 85% win rate. Paul also managed a pipeline of over 3.5B and developed/executed NRO portfolio manager’s strategic plans for their Intelligence business. In addition, Zukunft led colored team reviews, executed customer engagement plans, and brokered new industry teaming partnerships which increased PWIN on multiple proposals. Paul was one of 3 SME’s in the Leidos Intelligence ISR Working Group responsible for developing and recommending to the group president investment options for their major growth area in ISR (Partnerships, M&A’s, etc).

Prior to working at Leidos, Zukunft was a Senior SIGINT Engineering Consultant - DIA J262 Future Space Capabilities Branch at Strategic Alliance Consulting Inc. (Strategic ACI). In this role, they provided support to the US Government on developing future space capabilities for SIGINT systems.

Paul Zukunft earned their MS in Space Systems Technology from the Naval Postgraduate School and their BS in Chemistry from the Virginia Military Institute. Paul holds certifications from Miller Heiman Strategic Selling and Pursuit Simulation.
