Andrew Barkley

Andrew joined Hawkins\Brown having graduated from Kingston and London Metropolitan University. His diploma project focused on the City of London and reclaiming the city edge through a collaborative masterplan of civic, cultural and commercial buildings. His attempts at a rational understanding and fuller definition of context was fuelled by city artists and architects of the Renaissance.

This enthusiasm for city architects led Andrew to re-create his own Italian Grand Tour, while closer to home, he has been involved with the GLA London 2012 City Dressing project and on-going exhibitions with English Heritage.

When possible he is a regular at the museums and galleries of London, and has interests in fashion, sport and particularly Norwich City FC.
