Ryan Carlson started their career as an Asset Management Intern at the New York City Economic Development Corporation in 2008. Ryan then worked as an Analyst at Aladdin Capital Management from 2010 to 2011. In 2012, Ryan joined KKR & Co. Inc. as an Associate and worked there until 2015. Ryan then moved to Cushman & Wakefield, where they served as an Associate Director in Capital Markets, focusing on Equity, Debt, and Structured Finance from 2015 to 2018. Ryan joined Waypoint Residential in 2018 and held various roles, including Vice President of Finance & Investments and Senior Vice President of Capital Markets, until February 2022. Currently, they work as EVP and Head of Capital Markets at Hawkins Companies, starting in February 2022.
Ryan Carlson attended Fairfield College Preparatory School from 2001 to 2005. Ryan then enrolled at Northeastern University in 2005, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science/Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration with a focus on Finance and Entrepreneurship. Ryan completed their undergraduate studies in 2010. Ryan furthered their education by attending New York University from 2015 to 2018, where they obtained a Master of Science degree in Real Estate with a specialization in Finance and Investments.
