Lorenzo Ampil

Lorenzo Ampil is the Co-Founder and CTO of Hawksight, an AI Trading Assistant that empowers retail investors with SaaS and institutional investors in QaaS (Quant-as-a-Service) for stocks, cryptocurrency, and forex trading. Prior to Hawksight, Lorenzo was the Founder in Residence (EFSG9) at Entrepreneur First, an international Talent Investor which supports individuals to build technology companies. Lorenzo has also worked as a Machine Learning Product Manager & Data Scientist at Thinking Machines Data Science.

Lorenzo Ampil graduated from De La Salle University in 2017 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Applied Economics and Accountancy (Double Major). Lorenzo was an Assistant Concertmaster at the Lasallian Youth Orchestra, and they graduated in the top 10% of their program. Lorenzo was also a Champion of the 18th FINEX Inter-Collegiate Finance Competition, and they placed 2nd in the Deloitte Risk Intelligence Challenge - National Finals. Lorenzo received the SGV (EY Philippines) Award for Academic Excellence, and they were a Dean's Lister and St. Lasalle Scholar. Lorenzo also received the Cultural Arts Scholar award.

Lorenzo Ampil also attended De La Salle Santiago Zobel from 1999 to 2012. Lorenzo was a Performing Arts Scholar and the Captain of the DLSZ Swim Team and the DLSZ Orchestra.

Lorenzo Ampil is also a Certified Public Accountant from the Professional Regulation Commission.

Lorenzo Ampil has completed courses from Columbia University and Wesleyan University via Coursera, and they have received certificates for Financial Engineering and Risk Management Part II, Data Management and Visualization, and Using Python to Access Web Data, respectively.
