Cathy Silak serves as Of Counsel at Hawley Troxell since July 2017. Previously, Cathy held the position of Vice President of Community Engagement and Founding Dean at Concordia University from December 2008 to July 2017. From 1993 to 2000, Cathy was a Justice on the Supreme Court of Idaho and served as a Settlement Justice in the Idaho Supreme Court Appellate Settlement Program. Prior to that, Cathy was a Judge on the Idaho Court of Appeals from 1990 to 1993. Cathy Silak holds a Master of Arts in City/Urban, Community and Regional Planning from Harvard University, a Doctor of Law from the University of California, Berkeley - School of Law, and a Master of Laws from the University of Virginia School of Law. Additionally, Cathy earned Bachelor of Arts degrees in French Literature and Sociology from New York University.
