Danielle Russo has a diverse range of work experience in the art education and museum fields. Danielle has served as the Lead Art Teacher at Hawthorne High School for over 23 years, where they develop a curriculum and promotes a love for art within the school and community. Additionally, they took on the role of Student Activities Coordinator in 2011, overseeing social events for the school. Danielle has also volunteered at the Montclair Art Museum, assisting with events, programs, and the MAM Art Truck. Furthermore, they have volunteered at the Whitney Museum of American Art, providing gallery and program support, assisting patrons, and leading art projects aligned with the museum's exhibits.

Danielle Russo earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts (B.F.A.) in Fine Arts and Art History from Marist College from 1997 to 2001. Danielle then pursued further education and obtained a degree in Art Education from William Paterson University of New Jersey from 2002 to 2003. Additionally, in 2000, they attended Scuola Lorenzo d' Medici in Florence, Italy, where they studied Studio Art. Throughout their time at Marist College, they also obtained a Bachelor's Degree and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Studio Art and Art History.
