Jack Berger

Jack Berger has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. Jack began their career in 1987 as an Executive Director at GHSF, where they worked until 1991. From 1988 to 1992, they served as the Executive Director of the Greater Houston Sports Foundation at the Greater Houston Convention & Visitors Bureau. After that, from 1992 to 2005, Jack owned and operated Principally Sports, a sports marketing and sponsorship procurement agency. During this time, they worked with various clients ranging from professional sports teams to major events. In 2005, Jack joined OutSmart Magazine as an Advertising Account Executive, where they were responsible for sales and advertising targeting Houston's LGBTQ+ community. Jack worked at OutSmart Magazine for nearly two decades, until 2023. In 2015, Jack briefly served as the Publisher of Love Wins Texas Weddings. Most recently, in 2023, they became the Director of Programming & Events at the Greater Houston LGBT Chamber of Commerce. Prior to this role, they held the position of Vice President of Investor Relations at Hawthorne Capital since 2021.

Jack Berger attended Syracuse University from 1976 to 1980. Jack earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree with dual degrees in Journalism and Psychology. Jack'sfield of study included Journalism, Public Communications, and Psychology.
