Jodi Akin

Jodi Akin is the founder and CEO of Hawthorne Effect, a healthcare technology company. Jodi has over 20 years of experience in the medical device industry, including stints as the CEO of Novovascular and as the Vice President of Global Clinical Affairs for Edwards Lifesciences. Jodi has a proven track record of building successful companies and developing innovative products that improve patient care.

Jodi Akin has a BSFS from Georgetown University in Diplomacy, Economics, and International Affairs. Jodi also has an MSN from Pace University in Nursing. Currently, they are an Associate Clinical Professor at the University of California, San Francisco in the School of Nursing. Jodi is also pursuing an Advanced Critical Care degree at the University of California, San Francisco.
