Amor Almatani

Amor Almatani, Beng (Hon), MBA, PhD, serves as a State Council Member in Oman since November 2023 and holds multiple leadership roles, including Deputy Chairman of the Board at the Endowment Foundation for Education Support since April 2023, Chairman of the Board at the Environment Society of Oman since April 2014, and Board Member at the Oman Center for Governance and Sustainability since November 2021. Amor is also the Chief Executive Officer of the Oman LNG Foundation and holds several chairmanships, including at Jalan Private School and Hay Al Sharooq International School, both established to support quality education in Oman. Educational credentials include a PhD in Sustainable Development from Brunel University London and an MBA from Newcastle University, along with various other relevant degrees and certifications in engineering and business strategy.
