Bernard Lim

Bernard Lim has extensive work experience in various leadership roles. Bernard started their career as a Project Manager at Philips in 1987 and provided direct leadership to multiple-site and multiple-region project teams for New Product Introduction Projects. Bernard then moved on to become an Operations Manager at Philips in Suzhou, China, where they were responsible for the manufacturing P&L of the operations. Bernard later became the General Manager of the Philips plant in Zhuhai, China, providing direct leadership to the Operations Management Team. After that, they joined Worldmark International as the General Manager in Shenzhen, China, where they were responsible for the P&L of the plant operation. Bernard then moved to Confidex Ltd., where they held the role of VP Operations and later became the General Manager of Confidex China, leading the Operations Management Team and being responsible for P&L planning and results of manufacturing operations. Bernard is currently Vice President of Operations at Hayco Group.

Bernard Lim has a diverse education history. Bernard started their academic journey in 1977 at Chung Cheng High School (Branch) and completed their schooling there in 1980. Afterward, they pursued further education at Ngee Ann Polytechnic from 1981 to 1983, where they earned a Technical Diploma in Mechanical Engineering. Following this, Bernard Lim attended the University of Glasgow from 1985 to 1987 and obtained a B. Sc. (Honors) Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
