Marc Pelaez

Marc Pelaez has extensive experience in leadership roles within both the military and corporate sectors. From 2002 to 2022, Marc served as the Lead Independent Director at II-VI Incorporated. Prior to this, Marc held the position of Vice President at Newport News Shipbuilding from July 1996 to December 2001. Between July 1993 and July 1996, Marc was the Chief of Naval Research for the US Navy, and earlier in their career, served as a Nuclear Submarine Commanding Officer from August 1984 to November 1987. Marc earned a degree from the United States Naval Academy, where attendance spanned from 1964 to 1968.
