In that time, they have held positions at ICF International, ICF/Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, Atlanta Regional Commission, UnitedHealth Group, Transportation Research Board: National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine, Conduent, Georgia Bikes!, and Hayden AI.
At ICF International, they served as a Program Manager, providing subject matter expertise for the development of the Fitwel healthy building certification program and the AARP Livability Index.
At ICF/Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, they were a Program Manager, providing subject matter expertise in multimodal transportation access, social determinants of health, and the built environment.
At Atlanta Regional Commission, they were a Program Manager, providing subject matter expertise in demand response transportation for older adults and people with disabilities, social determinants of health, food access, and supportive housing.
At UnitedHealth Group, they were a Transportation Operations Director.
At Transportation Research Board: National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine, they were a Member of the AP020 Emerging and Innovative Public Transport and Technologies Committee and the AHB15 Intelligent Transportation Systems Committee.
At Conduent, they were a Strategy and Innovation Leader, leading strategy and innovation across all transportation lines of business, and a Director of Mobility Solutions, marshalling internal and external resources to create mobility solutions. Renee Autumn also served as a Senior Business Development Consultant for US Transit.
At Georgia Bikes!, they were a Board Member.
At Stand Up for Racial Justice, Atlanta Chapter, they were the Chair, providing clear, effective, and inspiring leadership to volunteers, developing and managing programs that educated and engaged members, and mentoring emerging leaders.
Currently, they are the Senior Director of Global Strategy at Hayden AI, refining and executing a thought leadership strategy, developing and leading strategic relationships with global partners, and sharing transportation planning and operational expertise across the team.
Renee Autumn Ray's education history includes obtaining a Master of Regional Planning from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, with a focus on Land Use, from 2005 to 2007. Renee Autumn also obtained a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature from Randolph College from 1998 to 2000. Renee Autumn graduated from Hoover High School between 1992 and 1996. Additionally, they obtained a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute in October 2017.
