Layne Hurst, CPM®️, has extensive experience in property management. They currently hold the position of Senior Vice President at Hayes Gibson Property Services since June 2023. Prior to this, Layne served as Vice President - Property Management, Affordable Housing at Birge & Held from April 2022 to June 2023. Layne also worked at Wallick Communities, where they held the roles of Regional Vice President from September 2016 to April 2022 and Regional Manager from April 2016 to September 2016. Layne started their property management career at Edgewood Management as a Senior Community Manager from June 2008 to June 2015, and later served as Regional Property Manager from June 2015 to April 2016.

Layne Hurst, CPM®, has a diverse education history. They started their educational journey at Robert Morris University in 2002, where they studied Information Science. However, it is not specified if they obtained a degree from this institution. In 2012, Layne pursued an Associate's degree in Real Estate at Cincinnati State Technical and Community College, which they completed in 2015.

Building on their previous education, Layne then attended the University of Cincinnati College of Arts and Sciences from 2019 to 2021, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Multi/Interdisciplinary Studies. They graduated from this program in December 2021.

In addition to their formal education, Layne has obtained several certifications throughout their career. Notably, they obtained the Certified Property Manager (CPM) certification from the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM) in January 2023. They also hold certifications such as the Real Estate Sales Agent from the State of Ohio, the Rural Housing Compliance Specialist (RHCS) from E&A Team, Inc., and the Certified Professional of Occupancy from NAHMA - The National Affordable Housing Management Association. Other certifications include the Housing Credit Certified Professional from the National Association of Home Builders, the Specialist in Housing Credit Management from NAHMA, the Tax Credit Certified Specialist from Quadel, and the Assisted Housing Manager, also obtained from Quadel. Each of these certifications was obtained over the years between 2008 and 2017, enhancing Layne's expertise in the real estate and housing management fields.
