Alex Jamieson

Alex Jamieson, CFA has a diverse work experience in the finance industry. Alex started their career in 2009 as an Analyst at NatWest Markets Plc and worked there until 2012. Alex then joined Apollo Global Management LLC as a Trader and held this role for seven years, until 2019. In 2022, Alex worked as an Associate Advisor at Cooper Parry Wealth for three months before joining Man Group as part of their Capital Asset Solutions team. Alex stayed with Man Group until July 2023 when they joined Hayfin Capital Management LLP as the Head of European High Yield & Syndicated Loans Trading.

Alex Jamieson, CFA pursued an MSc in Psychological Sciences from UCL from 2020 to 2022. Prior to that, from 2006 to 2009, they completed a BSc (Honours) in Economics from the University of Nottingham. Alex also attended Sir William Borlase's Grammar School from 1999 to 2006. Additionally, they hold several certifications including the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Charterholder from the CFA Institute, which they obtained in November 2013. Alex also completed the Private Markets Investments Programme from Saïd Business School, University of Oxford in August 2023. Furthermore, Alex obtained the Fixed Income Markets Certification (FIMC©) from Wall Street Prep, although the exact dates of completion are unavailable.
