Assistant Manager-finance Shared Service (center Of Excellence) at Hayleys Advantis

Gayan Jayasinghe has a diverse work experience spanning over 16 years. Gayan began their career as a Trainee at Noritake Lanka Porcelain Ltd in April 2004. In December 2004, they worked as a Trainee at People's Bank Sri Lanka for four months. Gayan then joined KPMG in June 2006 as an Audit Supervisor, where they prepared financial statements, identified relevant professional standards and regulatory requirements, and assessed audit and business risks. Gayan worked at KPMG for three years until June 2009.

After that, Gayan worked as an Assistant Accountant at Serandib Logistics Worlwide (Pvt) Ltd from November 2009 to April 2010. Gayan'sresponsibilities included preparing monthly accounts, creating achievement reports, and handling invoicing and job costing tasks.

In April 2010, Gayan joined Hayleys Advantis Limited as an Executive in the Advantis 3PL Plus department. Gayan was responsible for monthly account preparation, balance sheet schedules, and cash flow management until March 2015. Then, they were promoted to Assistant Manager Finance (Advantis 3PL Plus) and held the role until January 2020. In this position, Gayan provided accurate management information and supported decision making by contributing from a financial perspective. Gayan also coordinated with other departments to create annual budgets and strategic plans.

Currently, Gayan is working for Hayleys Advantis Limited as an Assistant Manager-Finance Shared Service in the Center of Excellence. Gayan oversees accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger functions for 9 Strategic Business Units. Gayan successfully achieves monthly operational KPIs and monitors daily finance shared service activities.

Gayan Jayasinghe earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Business Administration and Management from the University of Kelaniya Sri Lanka, graduating in 2019. Gayan also obtained a Member (ACMA) qualification in Management Accounting from the Institute of Certified Management Accountants of Sri Lanka, completing their studies in 2015. In 2009, Gayan received a Bachelor of Business Management (Finance) Special Degree in Accounting and Finance from the University of Kelaniya Sri Lanka. Prior to that, they attended St Thomas' College in Matale from 1996 to 2002 and Vijaya College in Matale from 1991 to 1995, though it is not specified if they obtained any degrees during these periods.
