Gurjit Degun

Gurjit Degun is a seasoned journalism professional with extensive experience in media and editorial roles. Currently serving as the Creativity and Culture Editor at Haymarket Media Group since October 2014, Gurjit has been recognized as a finalist for the BSME Talent Awards in 2023 and 2024 for outstanding achievements in writing and section editing. Previous positions at Haymarket include News Editor for Campaign, where responsibilities included managing news output, editing content, and hosting live events, as well as overseeing the Experiences section during the merger of Event magazine with Campaign. Gurjit's earlier career includes roles as a Senior Reporter at Redactive Media Group and William Reed Business Media Ltd., along with journalistic experience at The Recycler. Gurjit holds a PGDip in Magazine Journalism from PMA Media Training and a degree in Product Design from the University for the Creative Arts.
