Nik Goodell, P.E. has a diverse range of work experience. Nik started their career as a Marine Diesel Technician at Golden State Diesel Marine in 2002 and later worked at Monterey Bay Marine in the same role. Since 2015, Nik has been working as an Application Engineer at Haynes Mechanical Systems. Nik leads engineering projects and is considered an advanced resource for control systems. Nik focuses on designing cost-effective building control systems, including Fire and Security systems.

Nik Goodell, P.E. received their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Mechanical Engineering from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo from 2009 to 2011. Prior to that, they obtained an Associate of Science (A.S.) degree in Mathematics from Cabrillo College between 2005 and 2008. Before attending college, they earned an Associate's degree in Diesel Mechanics Technology/Technician from Universal Technical Institute, Inc. from 2000 to 2001.
