Jason Adam

Jason Adam has a significant amount of experience in the field of fine arts education. Jason started their career as an Assistant Band Director in KERRVILLE ISD in 1998 and later became the Director of Bands at Tivy HS. During their time in KERRVILLE ISD, they also coordinated fine arts activities and established a string orchestra program. In 2009, Jason joined Comal Independent School District as the Director of Bands at Canyon HS. Jason served as the head director of a large 6A band program and was a vertical team leader for band within the feeder pattern. Jason also participated in various district committees, including the fine arts leadership collaborative. In 2019, Jason moved to Seguin ISD, where they took on the role of Director of Fine Arts. In this position, they supervised all district fine arts activities and worked to enhance program achievements while fostering community relations. Jason was also responsible for managing the Performing Arts Center and served on facility design committees. Currently, Jason is working as the Asst. Director of Fine Arts at Hays Consolidated Independent School District, where they collaborate on the design and completion of multiple bond facility projects. Jason focuses on supporting enhanced achievements in the arts and fostering program diversity.

Jason Adam holds a Master's degree from Boston University and a Bachelor's degree from The University of Texas at San Antonio. Jason has additional certifications in Dare to Lead Training, Advanced Educational Leadership, All-Level Music, EC-12 Art, and T-TESS Appraiser, obtained from various institutions including Dare to Lead Trained and the Texas Education Agency.
