Candace Houston

Candace Houston has a diverse work experience in the field of laboratory technologies. Candace started their career as an intern in the Drug Chemistry Unit at the Baltimore Police Department in 2014. From there, they moved on to Sysmex Inostics, where they held various positions including Clinical Laboratory Technologist I, Clinical Laboratory Technologist II, Lead Clinical Laboratory Technologist, and Supervisor of Laboratory Technologies. Candace'sresponsibilities at Sysmex Inostics involved performing molecular biology testing, managing Flow Cytometer Equipment, and evaluating the acceptability of test results. Candace joined Haystack Oncology in 2022 as a Scientist, where they are currently employed.

Candace Houston earned their Bachelor's Degree in Forensic Science from the University of Baltimore, where they attended from 2013 to 2015.
