Mark Conway Wirt

Mark Conway Wirt is an accomplished software architect and senior software developer with extensive experience in designing and implementing back-end services. Currently at Haystax, a subsidiary of the Fishtech Group, Mark is responsible for computational services, Bayesian inference calculations, and monitoring platforms. Previously, Mark served as SVP of Analytics at Geostellar, overseeing algorithm development and a containerized micro-service architecture. Earlier roles include Director of IT Security and Compliance and Director of Technology Operations at American Public University System, where Mark managed technical operations and compliance audits. Mark co-founded Butterfly.Net as CTO and played a pivotal role in establishing information services at Intrepid Technologies. Mark holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics from the University of Delaware.
