Michelle Smith

Michelle Smith has extensive experience in education, currently serving as an instructor at Haywood County Schools since July 2014, where responsibilities include teaching basic computer skills and facilitating computer-based testing for grades 6-8. Previously, Michelle taught various writing genres to children at Haywood County Schools from July 2013 to May 2014, employing diverse methods to engage students. From January 2009 to August 2012, Michelle worked as a mentor at The University of Tennessee at Martin, supporting adult students in their transition back to academics. Additionally, as Assistant Director at First United Methodist Church in Brownsville from August 2007 to January 2011, responsibilities included student enrollment, hiring processes, and maintaining organizational order. Michelle holds a Bachelor's degree in Education and Behavioral Science from the University of Tennessee at Martin, earned between 2009 and 2012, and a diploma from Haywood High School (1991-1995).
