Bernadette Bañares

Bernadette Banares has a strong background in finance and management. Bernadette began their career in 2005 as the Corporate Controller at Canaccord Genuity Corp. Bernadette worked in this role for over 11 years, demonstrating their dedication and expertise in financial management. In 2017, Bernadette transitioned to Ardenton Capital, where they held the position of VP Finance for one year. Following their time at Ardenton Capital, they joined Haywood Securities Inc. in 2018 as the Vice President Finance. In 2019, Bernadette was promoted to the role of Chief Financial Officer at Haywood Securities (USA) Inc., where they currently work. Bernadette'sextensive experience in finance and leadership has contributed to their success in these positions.

Bernadette Banares has a CA degree from the Institute of Chartered Accountants. Bernadette also holds a Bachelor of Commerce - BCom degree in Accounting from The University of British Columbia. In 2023, Bernadette obtained a certification called Partners, Directors and Senior Officers Course (PDO) from the Canadian Securities Institute.
