Georgi Donev

Georgi Donev has a diverse work experience in various roles related to product management, webMethods development, and application testing. Georgi started their career in 2015 at Deutsche Telekom, where they worked on application testing for order entry and management. In 2016, they joined Deutsche Bahn and was involved in webMethods application development for workflow optimization and data entry. At DHL in the same year, Georgi focused on webMethods ESB and analytics development. In 2017, they worked on the webMethods digitalization project at KV Hessen and then briefly served as an Operations Specialist at VR LEASING. In 2018, Georgi worked on webMethods integration projects at UNIQA, Bosch, and BITMARCK. Georgi joined Software AG in the same year and held multiple roles, including Junior webMethods Consultant/Developer, webMethods Consultant, and Senior webMethods Consultant. Georgi showcased their skills in designing and developing business processes, managing projects remotely and onsite, and automating various processes. In 2022, Georgi joined Hazelcast as a Product Manager, where they are responsible for driving product direction and managing the product life cycle.

Georgi Donev completed their education in a chronological manner. Georgi obtained an Engineering Diploma in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from FH Aachen University of Applied Sciences, where they studied from 1999 to 2004. Following this, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Engineering/Industrial Management from Coventry University between 2004 and 2005.

In addition to their formal education, Georgi has acquired several certifications. In 2014, they obtained the "Java EE for Beginners" certification from Progress Ltd. Georgi further enhanced their skills by attaining the "Java EE" certification from IT Talents Training Camp in November 2015. Georgi obtained certifications related to webMethods development, including "webMethods 9.0 Certified ESB Developer," "webMethods 9.7 Certified BPM Developer," and "webMethods 9.8 Certified CAF Developer" from Software AG in 2016. Georgi also honed their programming skills by earning certifications in JavaScript and Angular JS from Codecademy and Code School, respectively, in 2016. Furthermore, they received the "Pragmatic Marketing Certified - Level Two (PMC-II)" certification from Pragmatic Institute (Pragmatic Marketing + TDI) in February 2019. Lastly, Georgi obtained the "INSEAD - Design Thinking and Creativity for Business" certification from INSEAD in December 2020, and the "Developer Essentials" certification from Hazelcast in March 2023.
