Carolyn Wott

Carolyn Wott, LCPC, CADC, currently serves as an Addiction Counselor at the Hazelden Betty Ford Foundation since April 2020, bringing extensive experience in addiction counseling from previous roles at Harborview Recovery Center and Chicago Lakeshore Hospital. Carolyn's career in mental health has also included significant contributions as an Inpatient Clinical Care Manager and Outpatient Clinician, along with an internship at Way Back Inn, which specializes in substance use disorder treatment. Prior to dedicating to mental health, Carolyn gained experience in advocacy with Rape Victim Advocates and program development at the Naomi Ruth Cohen Institute. Carolyn holds a Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology from The Chicago School and dual Bachelor's degrees in Finance and Accountancy from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
