Wendy Franchimon

Wendy Franchimon is an experienced professional in the field of biology, currently serving as Project Lead in Crucifer Phytopathology at Hazera Seeds since June 2009. In this role, Wendy leads research projects focused on disease resistance in crucifers, including the development of screening methods and marker development. Additionally, Wendy has held positions as an Internal Auditor for ISO 9001 and quality trustee, overseeing compliance and addressing non-conformities. Prior to Hazera, Wendy worked as a researcher at ENTOCARE C.V., investigating biological pest control, and contributed as an editor for the Missing Link Magazine at Wageningen University & Research. Wendy holds a Master of Science in Biology from Wageningen University & Research.
