Michelle (Meesh) Petrescu SPHR, SHRM-SCP, currently serves as the Head of People at The HBAR Foundation since May 2024. Previously, Michelle held the position of Chief of Staff and Head of People & Operations at Casa Inc. from May 2021 to May 2024 and served as Chief of Staff at ShapeShift from January 2017 to December 2021. Early in their career, Michelle worked in various roles including Office and People Ops Manager and HR Manager, with experience at FlowWest and Bitnami respectively. Michelle's background also includes a role as Project Specialist for the City of Westminster and Assistant Office Manager at Bancroft-Clover Water & Sanitation District. Michelle earned a Bachelor of Science in Water and Wastewater Systems from Colorado School of Mines and an Associate of Science from Red Rocks Community College.
