Courtney Tate

Courtney Tate is an experienced sports reporter and analyst with a diverse background in sports journalism. Currently serving as a Sideline Reporter and Color Analyst for HBCU Go since November 2022, Courtney previously reported for the San Francisco 49ers and WGME-TV. Additional experience includes reporting roles at KFDA - NewsChannel 10 and ESPN LA, where responsibilities involved editing highlights for SportsCenter and collaborating with newsroom staff. As an ESPNU Campus Connection Reporter, Courtney covered NCAA Division I sports and conducted interviews. Previous positions also include On-Camera Host for The Fumble Sports and reporter/director for Howard University News Service. Courtney holds a Bachelor's degree in Broadcast Journalism with a minor in English from Howard University.
