Damien Heard is an experienced media professional with a diverse background in video production, programming, and digital media strategy. Currently serving as a Programming Producer at HBCU Go since September 2022, Damien oversees digital media programming for VOD. As Creative Director at Next Definition Media since January 2010, Damien leads all aspects of video production and graphic design for promotional projects. Extensive freelance work as a videographer, editor, and producer began in 2004. Previously, Damien held the position of Communication Facilities Technical Specialist for the Louisiana State Senate, providing media production services, and served as Producer, Director, and Editor for New Hope Baptist Church's televised broadcasts. Additional experience includes working as Promotions Producer at a communication corporation and reporting for Southern University's cable broadcast. Damien holds a BA in Mass Communications with a focus on Broadcast Journalism from Southern University and A&M College.
