Emily Ritchey SPHR SHRMSCP has a strong background in human resources. Emily currently holds the position of Vice President of Human Resources at HBD Industries, Inc. since 2015. Prior to that, they worked at Goodyear from 2007 to 2015, where they held roles such as HR Manager for Consumer Sales & Marketing and Human Resources for Retail Stores. Before that, they worked at Newell Company as an HR Manager for the Rubbermaid Mogadore Plant from 2005 to 2006. Emily also has experience at Wyndham International, where they held various HR roles from 1994 to 2005, including Director of Human Resources for the Wyndham Washington Hotel. Emily has a proven track record of implementing performance management systems, conducting organizational reviews, managing employee relations, and leading HR teams.

Emily Ritchey obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Human Resources Management from Kent State University, which they completed from 1990 to 1994. In addition to their degree, they also hold the certifications of SHRM-SCP from the Society of Human Resources Management, which they obtained in December 2015, and Senior Professional Human Resources from the HR Certification Institute - HRCI, which they obtained in December 2002.
