Marc Katz

Marc Katz, P.E. has a diverse work experience in engineering and management roles. Marc began their career as a Senior Engineer at Crawford, Murphy & Tilly, Inc., where they worked on Aviation and Highways projects and performed Construction Observation duties. In 2014, they joined HBK Engineering, LLC, and held various positions including Program Lead, Gas Sector Lead, and Division Manager. In these roles, they managed teams, oversaw project delivery, maintained client relationships, and developed new business opportunities. Marc also worked as a Senior Field Manager at Appreciation Financial, where they assisted public employees in achieving a comfortable retirement.

Marc Katz, P.E. earned a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering with a focus on Structural Engineering/Construction Management from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in 2000. Marc has achieved several certifications throughout their career, including Professional Engineer (PE) from various institutions such as the West Virginia State Board of Registration for Professional Engineers, the LABOR, LICENSING AND REGULATION, SOUTH CAROLINA DEPARTMENT OF, the Georgia Secretary of State, the State of Alabama Board of Licensure for Professional Engineers and Land Surveyor, and the State of Michigan. Additionally, they hold certifications in FDOT Advanced MOT, Dale Carnegie Leadership Training, Registered Gas Distribution Professional (RGDP) from the Gas Technology Institute, and various certifications from the Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT).
