Cindy Chen

Cindy Chen has been working in the field of business intelligence and healthcare for over three years. Cindy started their career as an associate business analyst at Qliance, where they helped develop IT systems and enhance business intelligence functionality. Cindy was also responsible for managing system cycles from feasibility studies and requirement analyses to testing in UAT environments, implementation, and maintenance.

At Qliance, Cindy worked closely with a team of developers and quality assurance analysts to implement new functions. Using the Agile and Kanban methodology, they ensured the success of various projects. Some of their notable achievements include being elected as a member of the Qliance Employee Council, initiating the HIPAA Project within the company, and successfully implementing various analytic platforms using Qlickview and Power BI. The success of the latter project helped bring clarity to executives in business planning.

In October 2013, Cindy started their current position as COO of HBM Healthcare in Hong Kong. In this role, they are responsible for overseeing the company’s operations and ensuring its compliance with all relevant regulations.

Cindy Chen has a Bachelor of Science from the University of Washington in Health Information/Medical Records Administration/Administrator. Cindy also has a Bachelor's degree in Associate of Art and Science from Bellevue College. Cindy is certified in Healthcare Data Analyst Certificate- Federal Funded Program from Bellevue College, Introduction to SQL from South Seattle Community College, Relational Database Design from Bellevue College, Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act from University of Washington Medical Center Compliance, Institutional Review Board Protecting Human Research Participants from National Institute of Health, and Registered Health Information Administrator from AHIMA.

Their manager is Andreas Wicki, CEO. Cindy Chen works with Priyanka Belawat - Investment Advisor, Miranda Guo - Investment Advisor, Hong Kong, and Erwin Troxler - CFO.
